Style

Your style has the right to evolve, too

Carolina Collaer · 10/02/2026

Style evolves just as we do. You don’t need more clothes. You need to choose better, and dress according to the woman you are becoming.

There is a moment when getting dressed stops being about trying everything on.

Not because we lose curiosity, but because we start to know ourselves better.

Style evolves just as we do. Our body changes, our life changes, our priorities change, and so does what we want to say when we walk into a room.

That is why dressing exactly as we did ten years ago is not always loyalty to ourselves. Sometimes it is simply habit.

Evolving does not mean giving up what you love or starting from scratch. It means looking at your wardrobe with fresh eyes.

Asking yourself what still represents you. What you buy out of inertia. What you keep because it once worked. And which pieces, however beautiful, no longer have anything to say about the woman you are today.

At CARO I don’t believe in accumulating in order to have style.

I believe in choosing.

A good jacket. Trousers that truly suit you. An accessory with character. An unexpected colour. A piece that may not be on trend, but that, when you wear it, looks inevitably yours.

I also believe that growing older should not make us invisible.

Elegance is not about neutralising yourself.

You can wear volume, colour, big glasses, jewellery, heels, shoulder pads or one extraordinary piece and still be absolutely sophisticated.

The difference is in how you wear it.

Knowing your style does not mean locking yourself into a formula. It means having a base solid enough to play without losing yourself.

Perhaps that is why, over the years, I need fewer pieces and expect much more from each one.

That they work.

That they last.

That they have intention.

And, above all, that they represent me.

Because real change is not about dressing according to your age.

It is about dressing according to the woman you are becoming.

You don’t need more. You need to choose better.
