Gifts with intention: the CARO guide

Carolina Collaer · 07/11/2026

Giving well isn’t about giving more. Four ways to get it right, from a small token to a piece for life, chosen with care.

Every year the same moment comes: the list of names, the rush, and the temptation to buy something, anything, just to tick a box.

I prefer another idea. Give less, but choose better.

A good gift says “I see you”. It says you know what that person likes, how she lives and what would delight her, even if she never asked for it.

That is why this guide isn’t an endless list. These are four ways of giving, from a small token to a piece for life.

Before you start: choose early

November is the best time to choose gifts calmly. Some CARO pieces are restocking and their page says so: they arrive, but take longer. If you need a gift for a specific date, write to us before ordering and we’ll tell you when it can arrive.

1. A small token

To go with a card, for a Secret Santa or for that “I thought of you”.

Ondo Beauty 36.5 sheet masks are perfect: small, pretty and easy to get right. My idea is to give three, one for each moment:

  • Hyaluronic Acid & Algae, moisturising. The brand counts it among its bestsellers.
  • Adenosine & Zhi Mu, firming according to the brand.
  • Probiotics & Cica Water, soothing, also suitable for sensitive skin.

A small gift that invites you to stop for fifteen minutes. And in December, that is already a lot.

2. For someone who cares for herself

For the woman who has her routine and enjoys it.

  • Ondo Beauty 36.5’s peptide and bakuchiol eye cream, rich and nourishing.
  • The Squalane & Bakuchiol Sleeping Pack, a jelly-textured overnight mask that turns liquid as you massage it in.
  • Meisani’s Plump Drops, a serum with eight types of hyaluronic acid.

Together or separately, they make a small night ritual. It is a gift used every day, one that brings the giver to mind.

3. For someone who dresses with intention

For the woman who knows what she likes and doesn’t follow every trend.

  • A Lind bracelet in braided cord with natural stones and a central stone with a golden rim. Worn alone or stacked, her way.
  • The green Perkins-collar jumper, in chunky knit with a zigzag relief: colour and texture for cold days.
  • The black patent shoulder bag, clean and glossy, for day and evening.

A tip: if you don’t know her size, choose an accessory. A bracelet or a bag is always right.

4. A piece for life

Some gifts don’t end up in a drawer. They are lived with.

  • A NAOR Teddy: an original resin sculpture, signed and numbered, with the artist’s certificate. Pop, playful and collectable.
  • Hamed Ouattara’s Deni stool, made from engine oil drums and sheet metal. Designer craft with a story behind it.
  • Hamed Ouattara’s tassabas, three pieces in three sizes and assorted colours.

These are pieces to choose calmly. If you have questions about sizes, colours or shipping, write to us and we’ll look at it together.

What I wouldn’t do

I wouldn’t give an “anti-ageing” cream to someone who hasn’t asked for one. Care is offered, not hinted at.

I wouldn’t buy just to tick a box. A gift without intention is forgotten before it’s unwrapped.

And I wouldn’t forget myself. If this year the gift is for you, that counts too.

Frequently asked questions

Do you ship outside Spain?

Yes: to Spain, the rest of Europe and other countries. Shipping is free in the eurozone from €50, except for large Casa pieces, which have their own shipping shown on their page.

Will it arrive in time?

Available pieces follow the usual shipping time. Those restocking say so on their page and take longer. If it’s for a specific date, write to us before ordering.

Can I give a Casa piece if I don’t know where it will go?

Casa pieces have their own character and sit well with very different styles. Even so, if in doubt, write to us: we’ll share sizes and details so you can choose with peace of mind.
